Sideways Reflections on changing contexts in Art
This publication together with a exhibition in Theran and the Museum of Modern Art Arnhem is the result of a three year research project initiated by Atousa Bandeh Ghiasabad (Artist) in 2007.
During this period she cooperated with a group of three Artists: Sara
Blokland (NL 1969), Bassam Chekhes (Syrië 1965) and Katrin Korfmann (D
1971), the writer Nickel van Duijvenboden (NL 1981) and philosopher Tina
Rahimy (IR 1975). Their research focused on the question: “what is the
influences of context replacement in Art based on their individual
experiences”. The publication Sideways is a platform, to which all
writers and artist contributed.
